Important and urgent: Seely out of school club closure.

21 November 2018 (by admin)

Some of you will have no doubt heard that the out of school club has been notified to close, with immediate effect. This is enforced by Ofsted and has been caused by an administration error leading to an unpaid registration bill.

The out of school club wasn’t made aware they had been de registered until late this evening.

The Seely Out of School Club is a separate, independent organisation who lease the room from the school.  The school was made aware of the issues as they arose but could not have foreseen them.

We know that an out of school provision is a vital to many families and we have reacted quickly to work with all parties. The out of school providers have told us that this registration process could take two weeks or more. We have offered our full support and are trying to find solutions so that the club can remain open whilst they go through the process of re registering. We will know more about this tomorrow (Thursday).

The managers of the club will be keeping families updated. The school will do the same as soon as it receives more information. In the meantime, our advice is that you ensure alternative out of school care.
