Dear Seely Community. We just wanted to give you a quick update since our Head Teachers announced their retirement last week.
The Local Authority Human Resources team, Nottingham Schools Trust , parent governors and staff governors have convened a sub-committee and are meeting formally weekly and communicating daily. We launched an advert last week which covered our values of Dream, Believe and Succeed. It also includes a Job Description and Person Specification that reflects how we work. We are going to be showing prospective candidates around the school over the coming weeks ready for a two day assessment process. There is a lot of competition for head teachers so we are doing everything we can to attract the very best candidate for our school and ensure minimum disruption from the transition.
I would like to personally thank the school team and volunteer governors, who have worked hard to set this process up to such a high standard. We will update you before the Easter holidays.
