Year 6 Week 8
Your work for this week is all under one easy to use document. Download the document below and follow your instructions for each day, each lesson has a link to the twinkl documents for you to download and follow. On the planning sheet there is a reminder of how to log onto twinkl and download the lessons.

Literacy
This weeks literacy focus is all about information leaflets. There is a reading focus for the first two lessons, then you'll be identifying features, looking at formality in them and then finally writing your own.
Foundation Subjects
There is a subject each day for you to explore. In Science you will be continuing with the living things topic and in History you will continue studying the Mayans. There are also activities for you to complete in ICT, RE, Spanish and Art.
Numeracy
In Numeracy this week you will have a recap about co-ordinates and how to translte and reflect shapes. As well as beginning the week with your weekly arithmetic test.
SMSC - Looking after your wellbeing
These lessons are aimed at children between the ages of 9-11. It has been designed for parents and carers to work through with their child at home, using the lesson presentation as a guide. Children can use drawings or writing on these resources.
