The Young Hustlers are running a series of FREE creative workshops at Nonsuch Studios (92 Lower Parliament St, Nottingham) at the end of September and throughout October.
The workshops are suitable for children of all ages.
All workshops run from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Sunday 29th September - Djembe Drumming with Biant Singh
Join percussionist and New Art Exchange regular Biant Singh in discovering the positive power of music through interactive rhythm. You'll learn how to bash the djembe drum and feel the unity of making music with other people.
Sunday 6th October - DJ workshop with Aicha Daffe
Aicha Daffe - member of the creative collective, SheAfriq and organiser of r'n'b night Honeydips. Aicha will teach you how to spin, mix and blend songs, so you can learn the basics of DJing.
Sunday 13th October – Rap and Spoken Word with Karizma and Bridie Squires
Nottingham hip hop legend Karizma and spoken-word poet Bridie Squires are teaming up to deliver a playful workshop in creating your own rhymes and rhythms. Karizma's tunes, like Badboy and Through My Window, are sure to inspire, while previous LeftLion Editor and NTU Writer in Residence Bridie Squires' nonsense verse will get you feeling proper silly.
Sunday 20th October - Songwriting with Rob Green
The soulful singer and loop-pedal prodigy, Rob Green, is fast becoming one of the most acclaimed artists in the UK. This songwriting session is designed to introduce aspiring songwriters to the basics of lyricism. Write your own lyrics, explore your ambitions and identity, and learn how to communicate through music.
