Seely Primary and Nursery School

The bid we submitted was to provide the HAF programme as part of our existing Summer Academies. By combining the programmes it means that any eligible children, aged 4-11 years could attend full days, throughout August absolutely free.

This is an amazing service that we are proud to offer to children and families across each of our settings in Nottinghamshire and we want to support as many eligible families as possible.

To be eligible for a government funded place your child MUST be in receipt of Benefits related Free School Meals and be at least 5 years of age (or if 4 must already be in reception class at school).

Our Academy Holiday clubs provide parents with the option of flexible, high-quality childcare throughout the school holidays. We offer a rich range of stimulating, fun, activities to suit children of all ages. Our friendly staff teams and sports coaches will go out of their way to make sure that children have a fun filled, energetic day with plenty of good old-fashioned fun.

Activities include nature-based learning, laser tag, cookery and den building. All of our Academy Holiday Clubs prioritise time outside, physical activity, healthy eating and support for children’s emotional well-being including daily meditation and yoga sessions.

Children will be provided with a healthy breakfast and afternoon snack, but are required to bring their own lunch. All of our food options have been approved by the HAF team and are nutritionally balanced and support the healthy eating education that we will be providing.          

With 15 Academies running this summer, we have one that is close by that could provide a fantastic level of support, activities and new experiences that you and your children could benefit from.
