**Change of time to the end of the school day**
We’re getting very excited for next week’s Eid Fair which is happening on Wednesday 18th May. The fair will start at 3.15pm and will be on both playgrounds. To give everyone chance to enjoy the Eid Fair (and get to the cake stall before all the cakes sell out!), we’re dismissing ALL children in years F2 to year 6 at 3.15pm on that day.
We know it won’t be possible for some carers to collect their children at that time so if that is the case, they will be supervised by school staff, as usual, until their usual collection time.
If your child is in years 4, 5 or 6 and usually leaves through the back gate (the car park at the moment), they will be brought to the car park at 3.15pm. You can then cut back through the school building, with your child, to the playground to attend the fair.
Whilst this is to help our Muslim families celebrate an important event in the Islamic calendar, everyone is welcome to attend. We’re really hoping as many families as possible can be there and enjoy cakes, sweets, games, Indian street food, mehndi, crafts and music.
