This year we are having a whole school theme based around the book ‘Greta and the Giants’.
Each class will be completing a piece of writing and some artwork around the book and the themes that run through it – which are climate change and caring for the environment.
On World Book Day, children can come to school dressed up as a character from a book but we are asking that they consider the themes from Greta and the Giant and try to upcycle/recycle/make their costumes to work alongside the over-arching theme of saving the environment.
Prizes will be awarded to the costumes in each class for the most creative and the best effort.
