Childrens Mental Health Week - 7th to 10th February

31 January 2022 (by admin)

We will be taking part in Children's Mental Health Week 2022 on 7th to 10th February, It is run by the children's mental health charity Place2Be and focuses on the importance of looking after our emotional wellbeing from an early age.

This year's theme is Growing Together.  Physical growth is easy to see as we grow from babies to children, teenagers to adults. We grow intellectually as we gain new knowledge, skills, and understanding at school, and beyond. Growing Together is about growing emotionally and finding ways to help each other grow. For Children’s Mental Health Week 2022, we are encouraging children (and adults) to consider how they have grown, what they need to help them grow, and how they can help others to grow too.

Your child will take part in wellbeing activities within school and on Thursday 10th February we are encouraging them to Dress to Express! They can come to school dressed in a colourful outfit that expresses themself. No donation required, we just hope to raise awareness of children's mental health and wellbeing.
