Police Community Support Officers
We work closely with one of Sherwood's friendly PCSOs, Nathan Duffus. He takes such a huge interest in the school and attends as many events as he can to make positive relationships with the children and break down any negative ideas children may have about the police.
Nathan helps lead our Community Rangers pupil leadership group and has organised community litter picking events alongside our local councillors.
Nathan is also arranging a talk at school with the FIDO (a specialist unit designed for litter and dog faeces collection which includes glass and other sharp objects along with general faeces, waste, and litter), along with a manager from street scene to do a presentation on environmental safety.
