Matt Jordan - Artist
Matt Jordan is an artist based in Nottinghamshire. He spent six years studying art and design at college and university and has been painting and designing for about 30 years. He works in many disciplines ranging from painting, sculpture, textile design and interior design.
Matt's motto is “Anything's a canvas!” believing that any surface can become a platform for his work.
We are so very lucky to have Matt as one of our parents and he heard about how we wanted to cover our school site in artwork and agreed to get involved!
We asked the children to submit designs of what they would like to see painted on the walls of Seely and we were inundated with ideas. We passed these on to Matt and he is now transferring these across the exterior of our school.
Matt is working with our pupil Arts Ambassadors to develop this project further, to make sure our ethos is conveyed across the whole school.
