Local Councillors and Members of Parliament

Seely's Community Rangers work with local councillors to help the community. In January 2023, the Community Rangers joined Councillor Nayab Patel on a local ward walk to identify issues in the local community. They identified parking issues, litter, dog excrement and the fact that the zebra crossing needed repainting as part of their walk.

In July 2023, the Community Rangers took part in the Sherwood Community Day of Action with Councillor Adele Williams, local PCSOs and other council workers. The team met in the centre of Sherwood and did a litter pick to improve the local area.

In February 2024, the School Council are meeting local MP, Nadia Whittome as she is scheduled to come to school and tell the pupils all about her role and how she represents the people of Nottingham East.

In January 2024, older members of the School Council are going to London to visit and have a tour of the Houses of Parliament.
